Warranty & Service

MAXYOND Limited Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

MAXYOND warrants that eligible products purchased directly from MAXYOND will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use during the applicable commercial warranty period.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or agreed in writing:

Electronic products: 2 months
Including ESCs, BMS boards, controllers and other electronic products.

Non-electronic products: 6 months

The warranty period begins on the delivery date shown in the carrier's tracking information.

This limited commercial warranty is additional to, and does not replace or restrict, mandatory consumer rights that apply to the purchase.

2. What Is Covered

If a product develops a defect caused by materials or workmanship during the warranty period, MAXYOND will evaluate the claim and, where the choice of remedy is ours, provide an appropriate remedy at our discretion, which may include:

• Technical troubleshooting
• Repair
• Replacement parts
• Replacement of the defective product
• Store credit or another mutually agreed solution where repair or replacement is not practical

Warranty service applies only after the reported issue has been reviewed and confirmed by MAXYOND. Where applicable law gives the customer a specific remedy, that right remains unaffected.

3. What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear
• Improper operation, installation, wiring, configuration, assembly or disassembly
• Incorrect or reverse battery polarity, short circuits or other incorrect electrical connections
• Operation outside the product's specified voltage, current, power, temperature or other operating limits
• Use with incompatible batteries, motors, controllers or other system components, or improper system configuration
• Crash, collision, impact or other accidental or mechanical damage
• Physical damage to wires, connectors, housings, PCBs or other components caused after delivery or during installation
• Improper soldering or modification of PCB components, except soldering specifically required by the product instructions
• Water or moisture damage, except where a confirmed product defect caused the failure of a product specifically designed and rated for those operating conditions
• Corrosion, including corrosion caused by saltwater exposure or insufficient cleaning and maintenance
• Abnormal or unauthorized firmware flashing, configuration or modification
• Inadequate cooling, blocked airflow or operation under unsuitable thermal conditions
• Unauthorized modification, disassembly or repair
• Misuse, abuse, improper storage or improper maintenance
• Damage caused by accidents, external forces or other circumstances unrelated to manufacturing defects
• Any other damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow the applicable product instructions

Damage caused by these conditions is considered non-warranty damage rather than a manufacturing defect. An exclusion applies only where the excluded condition caused or contributed to the claimed damage or failure.

Proof of purchase is required for warranty service.

4. Waterproof and Marine Products

A waterproof or water-resistant rating applies only under the operating conditions specified for the individual product.

Waterproof protection may be compromised by improper installation, damaged seals, unauthorized disassembly, impact or incorrect maintenance.

For marine products used in saltwater environments, customers must follow the recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures. Corrosion or damage caused by improper maintenance is not considered a manufacturing defect.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

If a product is suspected of having a manufacturing defect within the applicable warranty period, contact MAXYOND Support as soon as possible.

To help us evaluate the claim, please provide:

• Order number or proof of purchase, including the purchase date
• Product model or SKU
• A clear description of the issue
• Clear photos and/or videos showing the problem
• Relevant system configuration, installation, wiring and operating information, where applicable

MAXYOND may request additional information, reasonable troubleshooting or testing before determining whether the product qualifies for warranty service.

If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, MAXYOND will provide an appropriate warranty solution in accordance with this policy.

Do not return products without prior authorization and return instructions from MAXYOND. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted. The return address will be provided by customer service and may differ from our business correspondence address.

6. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

For service requested solely under this limited commercial warranty, customers are generally responsible for shipping the product to the designated service location when physical inspection or repair is required.

If the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, MAXYOND will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to the customer.

If inspection determines that the product is functioning normally or that the damage is not covered by this warranty, the customer may be responsible for inspection, repair and return shipping costs. Any chargeable work or material inspection fee will be communicated for approval before the work is performed.

Different shipping-cost obligations may apply to a mandatory statutory claim. Nothing in this section limits costs that MAXYOND must bear under applicable law.

7. Paid Repair for Customer-Caused Damage

Where technically feasible, products damaged by improper operation, installation, crash, incorrect wiring or other customer-caused factors may still be eligible for paid repair service.

Repair availability and cost depend on the product's condition, required components and technical assessment. No paid repair will be performed without the customer's approval of the quoted charge.

Contact MAXYOND Support before returning the product.

8. Out-of-Warranty Support

For products outside the applicable warranty period, MAXYOND may, where practical, provide technical assistance, paid repair, replacement parts or discounted replacement options.

Where paid repair is available, the product may be returned for inspection after receiving return authorization from MAXYOND. Following inspection, we will advise whether the product can be repaired and provide the applicable repair cost.

Repair availability and fees depend on the product and the nature and extent of the damage. Shipping and other related costs for out-of-warranty service may be the customer's responsibility.

Do not return any product without receiving return instructions from MAXYOND first.

9. B2B, OEM and ODM Orders

Warranty terms for customized products, OEM/ODM orders, bulk purchases and project-based orders may be governed by the quotation, purchase agreement or another written agreement between MAXYOND and the customer.

Where such an agreement exists, its warranty terms take precedence over this standard commercial warranty, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAXYOND's liability under this limited commercial warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the affected product.

MAXYOND is not responsible for damage to other equipment, systems or property resulting from improper installation, misuse, incompatible system components or operation outside the product's specified conditions.

This limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not exclude or limit rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
